Customer Service Representative Inbound Call Center
Full-time, Permanent.
Job Summary
In our inbound call environment, you will provide basic customer service to members, including the provision of refunds. You will apply Memberworks Canada approved cancellation procedures and offer the Final Billing Option (FBO).
Responsibilities
Process inbound telephone calls from members in accordance with Memberworks policies
Answer telephone calls from members and process membership cancellations and Final Billing Offers to members through the application of the terms and conditions of the membership contract
Utilize skill and courtesy in order to deal effectively with members in a polite and professional manner
Accurately update member information
Attend training classes as required or requested by management
Maintain above average test scores on product, process, and system knowledge certification test administered by management
Consistently meet all Member Savings performance standards including schedule adherence, average handle time, call quality, and FBO
Perform other duties and special projects as required
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Six months of work experience in a customer service environment
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written); Spanish communication skills, an asset
Intermediate keyboarding and data entry skills
Demonstrated professionalism and telephone customer service skills (i.e., active listening, understanding and responding, proper etiquette, problem solving, initiative, calm demeanor, solution-oriented, attention to detail)
Comfortable in a fast-paced, closely monitored, and performance driven environment
Ability to handle a large volume of calls per day
